Firework Regulations
On January 1, 2012, Michigan legalized all fireworks in the State of Michigan. This includes the aerial fireworks that leave the ground, whistling fireworks, mortars, etc. Under the new law, it is prohibited to use fireworks:
  • On public property without permission
  • While intoxicated
  • In the use that jeopardizes the safety of the community
  • In a destructive manner
