About Respite

This service is the provision of short-term relief for caregivers. It is designed for those who are caring for their loved ones, by providing a break so that they may accomplish their daily tasks outside of the home.

Services

Respite Care services are offered for up to 4 hours per week by a Certified Nursing Associate (CNA). Depending on availability and client need, this service may be provided on different days. The CNA can provide such services as:

  • Assistance with mobility
  • Bathing
  • Exercise regimens
  • Feeding
  • Hair care
  • Laundry
  • Light house cleaning
  • Occasional meal preparation
  • Oral care
  • Skin care
  • Socialization
  • Toileting
  • Washing and changing bed linens

Sliding Fee Scale


A semi-annual assessment is conducted by our Registered Nurse to monitor client needs. Charges for these services are determined using the sliding fee scale and are based on the client's income.
