Learning Partners

If you have an earnest desire to spend some very rewarding quality time with a young person who needs a little extra help, you could be a Learning Partner

Description

• Volunteer Learning Partners are matched with an individual student and provide assistance to that student during the school day.
• As a tutor/mentor, volunteers help students complete school work, manage behaviors, and explore interests under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Optional expanded learning opportunities are offered at least quarterly.
• Volunteers are expected to attend the monthly Learning Partners meeting and provide brief monthly written reports.
• Volunteers are required to meet with the student at the same time each week for approximately 30 to 60 minutes.
