Trained volunteers drive youth under court jurisdiction to various Michigan detention facilities using a county transport vehicle.
Description
- Transporters are on call and may be called any day or time. Transporters may decline if unable to fulfill the request.
- Each trip requires two transporters.
- Trips are arranged by Volunteer Services.
- At least one one of the transporters needs to be of the same gender as the youth. Both male and female transporters are needed.
- Time commitment depends on the length of the trip.
