Boating Safety Education is available through the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. For more information visit the DNR website. 

Important Safety Tips:

  • Wear a life jacket 
  • Boat sober 
  • Check your boat before going out on the water 
  • Have a float plan 
  • Stay alert 
  • Carry a cell phone or marine radio
