Not-for-profit entities can apply for grant funding with the Grand Traverse County Land Bank Authority for the purpose of rehabilitating existing residential units to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for low-income households in Grand Traverse County. The Land Bank Authority will award grants on a quarterly basis at the first monthly meeting of each quarter, beginning with the October 30, 2020 meeting. Grant funding is available for materials to be used for future planned projects, or reimbursement of material costs for completed projects. The maximum amount the Land Bank Authority will award is $50,000. Questions about this program can be directed to the County Treasurer Heidi Scheppe, at 231-922-4735.

The application process:

2. Upon receipt of the application and required documentation, the Authority will evaluate your application at the next scheduled meeting of the Land Bank Authority.
