Monetary Compensation
Every prospective juror is compensated for appearing before the Court, even if not chosen to sit on a jury, as follows:

• Half day (morning - lunch break): $25
• Half day (1 - 5 p.m.): $25
• Full Day: $50
• Each additional half day: $25
• Each additional full day: $50

As an example, a juror who is summoned to appear at 8:30 a.m. for a trial, but is released without being chosen to sit on the jury at 10:15 a.m., will be paid the half day rate of $25.

Gas Mileage
In addition, jurors are paid $0.365 per mile, round trip, for travel from their home to the court.

When
It usually takes approximately3-4 weeks for the reimbursement check to be mailed to the juror's home.
