Mission Statement

The Grand Traverse County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority promotes and facilitates the reuse and redevelopment of environmentally contaminated, blighted, and functionally obsolete properties.

Primary Functions

  • Facilitate the redevelopment of environmentally contaminated, blighted, and functionally obsolete properties located within the County.
  • Work to clean up sites with contaminated soil and groundwater and redevelop them.
  • Facilitate creation of new jobs and employment opportunities in community.
