Grand Traverse County homebound seniors who would like to receive a COVID-19 vaccination can now call the Health Department hotline at 231-995-6804.

This is an unmanned voicemail system.  Callers will leave their name, birthdate and contact information on the voicemail.  The Health Department will be pulling these messages, checking the requestor's electronic health records, and adding the names to a list to be contacted for appointments when there are sufficient clients to fill a date.

Grand Traverse County senior citizens 65 years of age and older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.  In order to assist our local Health Department we are providing you with information on how to schedule your vaccination if you wish to receive it.  

Call 231-715-5557.  This is a clearing house where all Seniors in the area are calling to get on a list to schedule a vaccine appointment.  

Presently, per County policy, the Commission on Aging office is closed for unscheduled visits.  We are working however, and would be happy to help you.  Please contact us at 231.922.4688 to schedule an appointment.
